The Events Manager role at LEFT LANE is a pivotal position based in Savannah, responsible for orchestrating flawless events that range from corporate meetings and social celebrations to weddings and conferences. This role requires a professional who is adept at client engagement, event planning, and detailed execution to ensure that each event not only meets but exceeds the hotel’s brand standards. The Events Manager works closely with various departments, including culinary, banquet, and operations teams, to deliver seamless services and unforgettable experiences that leave a lasting impression on clients and guests alike.
In this role, the Events Manager will serve as the primary contact for clients from their initial inquiry through to the post-event follow-up, managing every detail such as proposals, contracts, timelines, and budgets. They will also conduct site visits and consultations to fully grasp client visions and expectations, and create precise Banquet Event Orders and diagrams to guide flawless event execution.
By collaborating with sales and marketing teams, the Events Manager will help identify new opportunities and support the hotel’s revenue goals. Furthermore, cultivating lasting client relationships is essential to encourage repeat and referral business, reinforcing the hotel’s standing in the competitive hospitality market. This role demands a candidate who possesses excellent organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and a client-focused mindset, with a willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Candidates must either be based in Savannah or willing to relocate to this vibrant city to join the LEFT LANE team in delivering exceptional hospitality experiences.

Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, event management, or related field preferred
- Minimum of 3-5 years of event or catering management experience in a hotel or venue
- Strong knowledge of event logistics, banquet operations, and contract management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and administrative skills
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must be based in Savannah or willing to relocate to Savannah area

Job Duties

- Partner with Sales & Marketing to identify new opportunities and support revenue goals
