Known for its commitment to diversity, inclusion, and community engagement, Williams fosters a collaborative and supportive work environment where employees are motivated to grow both professionally and personally.
The company’s corporate headquarters is located in downtown Tulsa, the second largest city in Oklahoma and a vibrant cultural hub. Tulsa is renowned for its iconic Route 66 heritage, stunning art deco architecture, and The Gathering Place, the number one city park in the United States. It offers a great quality of life with affordable living costs, excellent transportation options including over 20 non-stop flight destinations from Tulsa International Airport, and a thriving arts and music scene. Tulsa’s designation as one of CNN Travel’s best destinations to visit in 2022 underscores its appeal as a dynamic and welcoming community.
The Events Manager role at Williams is a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of shaping the company’s brand and corporate experiences. This position involves partnering closely with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts to create compelling, end-to-end event narratives that align with Williams’ business strategies and values. You will be responsible for designing engaging session formats such as fireside chats, workshops, and panels that deliver impactful messaging and foster meaningful conversations. This role requires a strategic mindset to lead the call-for-proposals process ensuring consistency with corporate brand voice and a keen eye for detail to develop an optimized run of show that maximizes attendee engagement.
As the architect of the attendee experience, the Events Manager will oversee all aspects of event planning from logistics—covering venues, lodging, travel, food and beverage, to entertainment and on-site operations. Managing multiple events simultaneously demands strong project management and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across functional areas and with varied stakeholders. Budget oversight, vendor negotiations, and contract management are critical components of this role, requiring analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions. Post-event analysis through reporting and feedback mechanisms will inform continuous improvement and elevate the quality of future events.

The Events Manager role provides an exciting career pathway to advance expertise in event strategy, corporate communications, and brand management within a company that values innovation, diversity, and sustainability. The position is part of a competitive total rewards package that supports physical, emotional, and financial well-being while encouraging work-life balance with flexible and hybrid work models. Joining Williams means becoming part of a passionate team dedicated to making clean energy happen and creating meaningful experiences that inspire employees, partners, and communities alike.
