A crucial aspect of the role is budget management, requiring you to effectively negotiate with vendors, build and maintain strong relationships with preferred partners, and research and select venues. You will prepare bid comparisons and conduct comprehensive contract reviews covering facilities, transportation, and various services to ensure cost efficiency and high-quality outcomes. The Events Manager is also tasked with evaluating the success of events through post-event reporting, analyzing stakeholder feedback, and monitoring performance metrics to drive continuous improvement and enhance overall event effectiveness.
