Since its inception, the organization has earned a strong reputation for impactful and meaningful programming, trusted partnerships, and deep engagement with the veteran community across the country. As Clear Path continues to expand its reach and deepen its impact, the organization is entering an important phase of growth and organizational advancement. They are investing heavily in their development operations to ensure sustainable growth, operational excellence, and the long-term success of their mission to serve veterans and their families.
The Events Manager role at Clear Path for Veterans is critical in supporting the organization's fundraising efforts by planning, managing, and executing major fundraising events while also supporting smaller engagement events throughout the year. This salaried position is based in Chittenango, NY and offers a salary range of $52,000 to $60,000 annually, dependent on experience. The Events Manager reports directly to the Chief Philanthropy Officer and operates within a Monday through Friday work schedule, with occasional evenings and weekend commitments required to support events.
As Events Manager, you will be responsible for orchestrating all logistical and operational facets of Clear Path's signature fundraising events, ensuring seamless event execution and providing a high-quality experience for donors, sponsors, veterans, and community partners. This role requires meticulous attention to detail to develop and manage detailed timelines, budgets, and work plans, while also coordinating vendor contracts, venue arrangements, and production partnerships. You will lead the day-of event execution ensuring smooth operations and effective communication across all teams and participants.
Collaboration is key in this role, as you will work closely with departments such as Development, Marketing, Volunteer, Programs, and Operations to guarantee events are well-coordinated, on budget, and aligned with fundraising and stewardship goals. You will be instrumental in integrating sponsorship and fundraising activities, supporting donor recognition and sponsor benefit fulfillment, and facilitating transitions of event attendees into year-round donor engagement. Your expertise will also extend to producing comprehensive post-event reports, analyzing success metrics, and providing actionable recommendations to advance future event success and fundraising outcomes.
Clear Path for Veterans looks for a highly organized, articulate, and collaborative professional who is passionate about supporting veterans and their families. This role requires someone who thrives under event-driven deadlines, can manage multiple stakeholders, and is proficient with donor management software and common office tools. If you are motivated by mission-driven work and possess strong project management skills with a commitment to excellence, the Events Manager position at Clear Path offers a meaningful opportunity to contribute directly to the well-being of veterans and the sustainability of an impactful nonprofit organization.
