Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 1 to 2 years of experience in event management or related professional area
- or 2-year degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major
- at least 1 year of experience in event management or related area

Job Duties
- Prepare all event documentation
- coordinate with sales, property departments, and customers
- manage event logistics and operations
- greet customers and hand-off to Event Operations team
- ensure adherence to standards, policies, and procedures
- manage group room blocks and meeting spaces
- identify and resolve operational challenges
- act as liaison between field salesperson and customer
- participate in customer site inspections and sales assistance
- solicit feedback to improve event planning
- deliver excellent customer service
- communicate event details verbally and in writing
- oversee customer experience from file turnover to post-event
- respond to guest problems and complaints
- lead pre- and post-event team meetings
- facilitate additional meetings as needed
- assist in sales process and revenue forecasting
- up-sell products and services
- review guest satisfaction results
- observe and provide feedback on service behaviors
- assist in corrective action plans
- continuously improve service performance
