Job Description

Flagright is a cutting-edge AI operating system designed for financial crime compliance, trusted and utilized globally by Fortune 500 companies, large banks, fintechs, and fast-growing startups. Focused on combating financial crime, Flagright empowers compliance teams with advanced tools for real-time risk detection, automated investigations, and intelligent decision-making. This innovative platform enables organizations to operate at peak efficiency and stay ahead of emerging financial threats, ensuring regulatory adherence and enhanced security.

At Flagright, the company culture thrives on high performance and individual ownership with direct access to leadership, fostering an environment where creativity and resourcefulness are highly valued. The team is lean, driven, and deeply committed to making a significant impact in the financial crime prevention space. With a no-nonsense approach and a dedication to excellence, Flagright creates an atmosphere where quick learners and resilient professionals can excel and grow.

The role of Events Lead within Flagright's Marketing team is a dynamic and strategic position focused on scaling marketing efforts in North America. This role involves owning the field-level marketing strategy and execution to increase brand awareness, engagement, and sales pipeline growth across target markets. The Events Lead will work closely with the Sales team to craft and deliver impactful programs that accelerate sales pipeline velocity, expand Flagright’s market reach, and strengthen brand positioning within key industries.

This position requires a combination of strategic thinking and hands-on execution, including traveling for event planning and managing high-impact marketing initiatives. The Events Lead is responsible for managing Flagright’s North America field marketing calendar, orchestrating customer roundtables, sponsored industry events, executive dinners, and conference activations designed for priority accounts and regions. Through strong collaboration with sales, go-to-market (GTM), and account-based marketing (ABM) teams, the Events Lead ensures tight coordination from event planning to post-event follow-up, aimed at maximizing pipeline conversion and campaign effectiveness.

Success at Flagright demands resilience, resourcefulness, a proactive mindset, and a commitment to continuous learning. Candidates who thrive are those who have overcome challenges, possess strong opinions but are open to debate, and have a hunger to learn and contribute meaningfully. The ideal candidate embraces fast-changing priorities, can navigate ambiguity, and is undeterred by rejection while maintaining a focus on results. Conversely, the role may not suit individuals who require extensive guidance, seek a consistent routine, or prioritize work-life balance over high performance.

The Events Lead will also play a vital role in regional and vertical marketing campaigns, developing localized email, social media, and account-based marketing initiatives targeting named accounts and high-value segments. Creating compelling campaign assets and collateral, tracking field program performance and ROI, and feeding market insights back into campaign planning will be integral to the role.

Additionally, the candidate will help build and maintain strong relationships with ecosystem partners, industry associations, and community groups. Supporting customer advocacy programs and reference generation activities, the Events Lead will contribute to elevating Flagright’s brand within strategic accounts and across target industries. Building repeatable client and community relationships that provide genuine access to enterprise buyers is essential to driving long-term growth.

This is an exciting opportunity for marketing professionals with at least three years of B2B field or demand marketing experience, preferably within the SaaS sector. Strong project management skills, a proven track record of driving pipeline through integrated marketing efforts, and the ability to operate with minimal supervision are critical. The role requires someone comfortable working in cross-functional teams and aligning multiple stakeholders. Based in the Bay Area, candidates must have the right to work in the USA without visa sponsorship and be willing and able to travel up to 60% of the time.

Flagright offers a high-bar environment focused on execution, learning, and continuous improvement. Employees receive equity from day one, working at a Y Combinator-backed startup alongside a top-tier team with professionals from Y Combinator, AWS, and Palantir backgrounds. The workplace culture values low bureaucracy, minimal meetings, and asynchronous communications, creating a streamlined and efficient work experience. For marketing professionals eager to contribute to an important mission and grow within a fast-paced, innovative company, the Events Lead role at Flagright represents a uniquely rewarding career opportunity.
