The Events Lead/Events Manager role at OneHope is far more than a traditional event planning position. This role is vital in advancing OneHope’s mission by designing and executing compelling, high-impact experiences that spur deeper faith commitments, greater generosity, and lasting partnerships. Key responsibilities involve leading team efforts on a broad spectrum of events ranging from intimate gatherings to large-scale fundraising events and global mission trips. The ideal candidate will be a high-capacity, visionary leader who thrives on bringing ideas to life and rallying diverse teams around purposeful goals.
Success in this role requires managing complex logistics such as negotiating and overseeing contracts for venues, speakers, audiovisual needs, and talent while managing large event budgets responsibly. The Events Lead will develop an annual event strategy aligned with organizational priorities and execute each event with exceptional attention to detail. This includes handling all operational details like travel, accommodations, and on-site logistics, while ensuring that every event delivers a transformational experience that connects partners meaningfully to OneHope’s mission. Collaboration is key, as this role requires leading cross-functional teams to create unified and unforgettable experiences.
In addition to event execution, the Events Manager will drive a culture of continuous improvement by leading post-event reviews, gathering data and insights, and refining future events to maximize impact and mission outcomes. The role also supports broader Advancement strategies that contribute to the long-term growth and sustainability of the organization.
Candidates must embody strong interpersonal and communication skills, a collaborative spirit, and the ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments with high levels of organization and attention to detail. Motivated by purpose and eager to make a tangible impact, the successful candidate will find meaningful work that resonates daily. The work schedule typically follows usual business hours from Monday to Friday but requires occasional evening and weekend availability as well as some domestic and international travel. Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 5 years experience in event management or related fields
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
- Proven ability to manage large budgets
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities

Job Duties
