The Events Lead position at Allison Sports Town is a full-time, non-exempt role reporting directly to the General Manager. This role centers on supervising event staff, ensuring smooth operations, and enhancing guest experiences during events. The Events Lead is responsible for distributing, collecting, and counting money banks, as well as providing staff relief for breaks. Serving as the frontline supervisor, the individual in this role must demonstrate excellent customer service skills and possess extensive knowledge of the facility's programs and offerings. Key responsibilities include managing event setups and breakdowns, enforcing facility policies, monitoring play areas, and maintaining equipment. The Events Lead is also expected to handle incident responses, assist with daily maintenance, and manage daily income processes. This position requires strong leadership capabilities, as the Events Lead trains and coaches new employees, manages staff breaks, assigns duties, and helps maintain a positive and safe work environment. Given the dynamic nature of events and facility operations, the role demands flexibility, organizational skills, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.

Job Duties
- Provide courteous and friendly service to all guests and staff
- Enforce facility policies and procedures
- Have general knowledge regarding program options and facility events
- Setup and take down of equipment
- Ensure correct equipment is available for all games
- Monitor play areas including turf and courts
- Keep supervisor informed of issues and updates
- Respond to all incidents, accidents, injuries, and altercations
- Complete and file corresponding paperwork as necessary
- Assist with daily maintenance and upkeep of department equipment inventory
- Assist Operations Manager in day-to-day operations, event set and breakdown
- Supervise, manage breaks, and assign duties to event staff during shifts
- Provide customer service and manage complaints, direct to appropriate manager to resolve
- Train and coach new employees
- Inspect equipment and communicate the need for repairs or replacements to management
- Ensure health and safety standards are followed
- Foster and maintain a positive work environment
- Responsible for key and radio distribution on shift
- Responsible for golf cart and Toro sign in and sign out
- Responsible for opening and closing duties of the facility
- Perform basic mathematical computations, balance drawers, and manage daily income
- Reconcile cash boxes per proper procedure
- Complete special projects, daily assignments, and other duties as directed by management
