Job Requirements
- 3+ years special events experience with a proven ability to lead the ideation, development and execution of immersive event experiences and activations
- Demonstrated ability to develop audience-first experience strategies, leveraging community insights, industry trends, and emerging engagement formats
- Proven operational and budget management expertise, including overseeing contracts, managing vendors, owning multi-line budgets and coordinating on-site execution
- Travel as required
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in event management or related field
- Proven experience in leading the ideation, development, and execution of immersive event experiences and activations
- Strong strategic thinking skills with ability to develop audience-first experience strategies
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills across multiple teams and stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, contracts, and vendor relationships effectively
- Knowledge of industry trends and emerging event formats
- Experience with on-site event management and talent coordination
Job Duties
- Lead idea generation, development, and implementation of special events, activations, lounges, networking experiences, and feature areas
- Design both daytime and evening experiences that drive engagement, connection, and brand buzz
- Contribute to annual strategic planning and Event Value Plans to ensure experiences align with growth and commercial objectives
- Identify industry trends, emerging formats, and innovative engagement strategies
- Identify and build relationships with rising voices, niche sub-communities, and superfans
- Represent the audience voice internally, embedding attendee needs and community perspectives in event strategy
- Partner with Operations, Sales, Sponsorship, Marketing, and Finance teams to bring experiences to life
- Collaborate with the sponsorship sales team to develop and support sellable activation and experience opportunities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for talent, speakers, agents, entertainment, and representatives pre-show and on-site
- Manage contracts for speakers, entertainment, associations, and sponsorship agreements with Legal
- Own and manage budgets for education, events, activations, catering, lounges, staging, decor, speakers, AV, and production
- Manage vendors across production, AV, staging, decor, and on-site video content creation
- Oversee content capture and collaborate with editing teams to repurpose content for digital platforms and year-round engagement
