We are currently seeking a dedicated and dynamic Events Coordinator/Manager to join our Jacksonville/Orange Park office. This key role involves driving the success of our event-based sales strategy by sourcing and booking local events, trade shows, and markets that generate appointments and quality leads for our sales team. The Events Coordinator/Manager will play a critical leadership role, managing a team of Brand Ambassadors/Lead Generators to ensure that sales and gross profit objectives are met. The position requires effective coaching, mentoring, and accountability to empower the team to reach peak performance.
As the administrator and coordinator of our event presence, the Events Coordinator/Manager organizes every aspect of each event, from planning and logistics to on-site leadership. This involves communicating clearly with vendors and internal staff, maintaining budgets, and developing marketing tactics tailored to each event's audience to maximize revenue return. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are essential to maintaining smooth operations and successful outcomes. The role reports directly to the Director of Marketing and Sales Enablement, underscoring its strategic importance within the marketing and sales teams.
The ideal candidate will bring a positive, customer-centric attitude and a goal-driven mindset. They must be comfortable working flexible hours, especially nights and weekends, and have reliable transportation to attend events. Experience in managing people, particularly teams of brand ambassadors, is highly valued, as is a background in event marketing and sales. Familiarity with social media event promotion and home improvement sales will be considered advantages. This position offers a competitive salary with bonus potential and a schedule that typically includes Monday, Thursday, Friday through Sunday, with varied days off depending on the event calendar.

Job Requirements
- Must be willing to work nights and primarily on weekends
- Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license required
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Must maintain confidentiality of company information
- Reliable commute or willingness to relocate to Orange Park, FL
- Must have a positive, goal-driven attitude

Job Qualifications
- 1 to 3 years of relevant experience as an events coordinator or manager
- Experience in customer service
- Experience managing people
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Positive and customer-centric attitude
- Comfortable standing for long periods
- Team player mentality
- Experience leading teams of brand ambassadors preferred
- Event marketing experience for at least 1 year preferred
- Experience posting engaging event content on social media a plus
- Home improvement experience a plus
- Sales or inside sales experience a plus
Job Duties
- Sources and books local events, trade shows, and markets
- Coordinates and communicates the logistics for events and acts as onsite event leader
- Provides on the job coaching, mentoring and motivating to ensure that assigned brand ambassadors stay on task
- Leads team strategy for booking appointments and generating quality leads at events
- Identifies development requirements and holds brand ambassadors accountable for assigned objectives
- Effectively recruits new brand ambassadors
- Maintains a visual pipeline on all brand ambassadors and takes immediate action if an ambassador falls behind
- Attends weekly meetings and provides results of events
- Ensures set appointment goals are achieved at each event
- Manages event expenses to be reasonable and within budget
- Prepares event budgets detailing sales, expenses, head count, and wages
- Maintains strong customer and vendor relationships
- Handles difficult situations tactfully while maintaining professionalism
- Coordinates with front desk staff and leadership teams as needed
- Maintains confidentiality of sensitive company information
- Complies with work schedule and vehicle requirements
