Job Requirements

  • Must be willing to work nights and primarily on weekends
  • Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license required
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Must maintain confidentiality of company information
  • Reliable commute or willingness to relocate to Orange Park, FL
  • Must have a positive, goal-driven attitude
  • Ability to coach and hold team accountable
  • Must be organized and detail oriented

Job Qualifications

  • 1 to 3 years of relevant experience as an events coordinator or manager
  • Experience in customer service
  • Experience managing people
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Positive and customer-centric attitude
  • Comfortable standing for long periods
  • Team player mentality
  • Experience leading teams of brand ambassadors preferred
  • Event marketing experience for at least 1 year preferred
  • Experience posting engaging event content on social media a plus
  • Home improvement experience a plus
  • Sales or inside sales experience a plus

Job Duties

  • Sources and books local events, trade shows, and markets
  • Coordinates and communicates the logistics for events and acts as onsite event leader
  • Provides on the job coaching, mentoring and motivating to ensure that assigned brand ambassadors stay on task
  • Leads team strategy for booking appointments and generating quality leads at events
  • Identifies development requirements and holds brand ambassadors accountable for assigned objectives
  • Effectively recruits new brand ambassadors
  • Maintains a visual pipeline on all brand ambassadors and takes immediate action if an ambassador falls behind
  • Attends weekly meetings and provides results of events
  • Ensures set appointment goals are achieved at each event
  • Manages event expenses to be reasonable and within budget
  • Prepares event budgets detailing sales, expenses, head count, and wages
  • Maintains strong customer and vendor relationships
  • Handles difficult situations tactfully while maintaining professionalism
  • Coordinates with front desk staff and leadership teams as needed
  • Maintains confidentiality of sensitive company information
  • Complies with work schedule and vehicle requirements
