Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in event coordination
  • Passion for hospitality and events with willingness to do what is needed to produce the best experience
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Must be experienced with computers including Microsoft Office, Outlook, restaurant reservations, POS and event management software
  • Demonstrate high level of follow through and ability to meet multiple deadlines
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Motivated, self-starter able to work individually and in a team
  • Dedication to providing excellent customer service
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in event coordination
  • Passion for hospitality and events with a commitment to high-quality guest experiences
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills including verbal, written, listening, and presentation
  • Ability to follow directions and work within existing guidelines and processes
  • Experience working collaboratively with diverse team members and clients
  • Proficiency with computers including Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, restaurant reservations systems, POS, and event management software
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple deadlines with strong organizational and time management skills
  • Self-motivated, capable of working independently and as part of a team
  • Dedication to providing excellent customer service
  • Willingness to work flexible schedules including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Previous hospitality industry experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Collaborate with Sales & Event Coordinators to ensure a smooth transition and take ownership of each event within two weeks of contract confirmation
  • Plan and finalize key event details such as timeline, floor plan, table settings, guest headcount, menus, and dietary restrictions for a variety of events including corporate, social, branded, and weddings
  • Process Banquet Event Orders and coordinate event details using Triple seat software
  • Participate in weekly Banquet Event Order meetings to ensure preparedness across supplies, staffing, venue, and vendors
  • Oversee and execute events including catering, bar service, activations, entertainment, and vendor management
  • Ensure event spaces are clean, organized, and meet guest and organizer expectations
  • Address any issues or concerns arising during events including guest complaints and logistical challenges
  • Collaborate with the Events Team on branded event planning, management, and execution, including design, decor, budget, and vendor coordination
  • Attend regular Event Team meetings and one-on-one sessions with the Event Manager
  • Develop, refine, and elevate the Event Program and SOPs
  • Manage weekly event inventory and order coordination with Assistant General Manager
  • Continuously improve event Standard Operating Procedures as needed
