Reporting to the Lead Events Manager, the Events Coordinator plays a vital role in the successful planning, organizing, and execution of the institute's flagship events and additional special occasions. This role demands a highly organized, detail-oriented professional committed to delivering flawless, mission-aligned events that inspire faith and fellowship. The Events Coordinator is integral to managing logistics, budgeting, scheduling, vendor coordination, and on-site event operations to ensure each event achieves the Institute's high standards of excellence. In addition to meticulous administrative capabilities, the position calls for exceptional leadership to guide volunteers, interns, and liturgical assistants, ensuring smooth event flow and prompt issue resolution. Travel along the East Coast and sometimes to California is required to oversee and support event implementation. Ideal candidates will have 1-2 years of experience in event management, preferably within faith-based or nonprofit sectors and possess excellent communication skills, project management expertise, and a deep commitment to the Catholic faith.   • High degree of professionalism and ability to handle sensitive information confidentially
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • 1-2 years’ experience in event management preferably in faith-based or nonprofit organizations
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • Serve as liaison with vendors and venue managers
  • Review Banquet Event Orders for accuracy
  • Oversee on-site event operations
  • Manage volunteers and interns
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues during events
  • Finalize details with venues and vendors post-event
  • Provide post-event reports and recommendations
