Job Description
Anduril's Air Dominance & Strike Division stands at the forefront of defense technology, representing one of the company's fastest growing and most technically sophisticated divisions. Specializing in the development of collaborative combat aircraft, missiles, and the software driving autonomous weapons, this division embodies cutting-edge innovation in defense systems. With a focus on seamless coordination across engineering teams, program leadership, and key stakeholders—which include government customers and industry partners—the division plays a pivotal role in advancing national security through technological superiority.
In this demanding environment, the Air Dominance & Strike Division is seeking a dedicated Events Coordinator to manage and execute a broad array of internal events while providing essential support for external engagements and VIP visits. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a high-stakes, fast-paced workplace where the caliber of events impacts team cohesion, stakeholder relationships, and the division's ability to showcase its advanced autonomous systems capabilities.
The Events Coordinator will be responsible for conceptualizing and overseeing events that foster a strong division culture among a rapidly expanding technical workforce. This includes handling all logistics for internal gatherings—such as team outings, holiday parties, and office celebrations—that build engagement and recognition within the team. Beyond internal initiatives, the role extends to supporting VIP visits, government customer engagements, media interactions, and stakeholder meetings. These functions require meticulous attention to detail when managing logistics, including secure facility tours, classified briefings, technical demonstrations, and delivering hospitality experiences befitting high-profile guests.
This position demands precision, adaptability, and a high degree of organizational prowess, especially given the need to operate within secure and controlled environments. The Events Coordinator will serve as the division’s primary point of contact for event planning, coordinating closely with cross-functional teams such as Kitchen Operations, Executive Assistants, IT, Physical Security, and Program Management to ensure each event runs flawlessly. They will also collaborate with the corporate Events team to align on enterprise-wide best practices and streamline processes.
Operational excellence is critical in this role; the coordinator will establish and maintain budgets, secure vendor quotes with the appropriate clearances, and develop resource sheets to maintain strong vendor networks. Occasional travel onsite for event set-up, management, and teardown will be part of the responsibilities.
This role offers a compelling blend of creative planning, logistical execution, and collaborative teamwork within an innovative defense technology environment. Candidates with experience in event planning, program coordination, or related fields will find this role rewarding, especially those who thrive in fast-moving settings where confidentiality and security are paramount. The opportunity to work alongside cutting-edge technical teams and contribute to events that support national defense initiatives makes this an exciting and impactful career path.
