Currently, Bath Planet of Seattle is expanding its marketing efforts and building a dedicated Event Department to enhance its visibility and engagement in the local market. This new department will represent the Bath Planet brand at various shows, festivals, and home improvement events in person, bringing the company’s products and services directly to potential customers. The role of Events Coordinator is central to this initiative, offering an exciting opportunity for an energetic and organized professional to lead event marketing efforts throughout Western Washington.

As the Events Coordinator, you will play a hands-on role, actively securing booking for events, managing promotional booths, and generating new customer leads that drive sales and revenue growth. This role is not only about planning and coordination but also involves leading and mentoring a team of Event Demonstrators who work alongside you during each event. Your responsibilities will include booking and securing events every weekend within your territory, planning event schedules, training your team, and ensuring smooth booth setups and takedowns at all events. Your leadership and interpersonal skills will be vital in ensuring your team performs at its best and meets set goals consistently.

This full-time position offers a competitive base payroll ranging from $800 to $1,200 per week, complemented by commission opportunities based on leads and appointments generated, allowing you to significantly boost your earnings. The role demands strong organizational abilities, excellent communication skills, and the enthusiasm to engage with new people actively. You must also have the physical stamina to stand for extended periods at events and the flexibility to work every weekend.

Job Duties

  • book and secure events and shows for every weekend within your territory
  • plan, coordinate, and execute event schedules for you and your team
  • recruit, hire, train, and mentor a team of Event Demonstrators
  • ensure booths are safely set up, staffed, and taken down at every event
  • generate leads that translate into sales and measurable profit
  • maintain inventory, track productivity, labor, and budgets weekly
  • set clear goals for each event, week, and month, and ensure they are achieved
  • maintain open, regular, and timely communication with leadership and other departments
  • actively work events, engage with potential customers, and demonstrate Bath Planet products
