Job Description

Truth For Life is a well-established Christian radio ministry dedicated to spreading the Gospel, fostering spiritual growth, and strengthening local churches and pastors. As a faith-based organization, Truth For Life seeks to reach unbelievers with the message of salvation, reinforce the faith of believers, and support the ministry activities of churches. The ministry is focused on making a meaningful impact through various outreach efforts, leveraging media and event platforms to connect communities, encourage discipleship, and promote Christian teachings.

The Events Coordinator position at Truth For Life plays a critical role in bringing the organization’s mission to life through strategic planning, promotion, and execution of both in-person and virtual events. This key leadership role involves orchestrating conferences, workshops, trips, fundraising events, and evangelistic outreach programs that deepen faith, build relationships, and share the love of Christ. The Events Coordinator collaborates closely with internal teams—such as Content, Stations, Communications, Digital, and Customer Service—to ensure events are designed thematically around teaching goals, managed effectively, and promoted to reach the widest possible audience.

This role requires a strategic visionary who can cast a compelling plan aligned with Truth For Life’s mission to extend the radio ministry’s impact beyond the broadcast. The Coordinator supervises event logistics including venue negotiation, vendor management, budgeting, travel arrangements, volunteer coordination, and post-event evaluations. By facilitating well-executed events, the Coordinator creates environments that inspire attendees, amplify ministry messages, and foster a connected community of faith.

The position reports to the Executive Director and demands a highly organized, adaptable professional adept at multi-tasking within a collaborative ministry environment. The role generally adheres to a standard 40-hour workweek based out of an office but offers flexibility for virtual working conditions. Occasional travel and weekend or evening events (approximately 10% of the time) are expected. Benefits include ten holidays, vacation weeks increasing with tenure, and generous sick time accrual, reflecting the organization’s commitment to employee well-being.

Overall, the Events Coordinator at Truth For Life combines project management expertise, budgeting acumen, and a passion for Christian ministry to generate impactful, faith-centered events that engage both the heart and mind of attendees, advancing the mission to bring Christ’s message to all. This role is ideal for a seasoned event planning professional with a strong Christian faith, excellent communication skills, and a passion for ministry outreach.
