The Events Coordinator position is an integral role within our Events Department, providing vital support to our Event Managers as they handle group turnovers, contract review, and the detailed management of group information in our operational systems. This role requires a proactive individual capable of managing multiple priorities effectively while ensuring precision and accuracy in all tasks. The Events Coordinator acts as a primary contact for client interactions, particularly focusing on guest room reservations and billing inquiries, promoting smooth communication and satisfaction. The role involves consistent collaboration with various hotel departments, striving to guarantee a seamless, high-quality experience from the onset of the event through to execution.

The ideal candidate for this position is tech-savvy, quick to learn new applications and procedures, and fully capable of adapting communication styles to various leadership needs. Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills are essential due to the frequent use of phone, video calls, and email as communication mediums. Moreover, this role handles special projects aimed at elevating the Events Department and occasionally assists in the planning and execution of site visits. The ability to juggle multiple deadlines with a high level of service and quick responsiveness distinguishes successful candidates.

Job Requirements

  • previous experience in hospitality or administrative roles preferred
