Life Time is a premier health and wellness company dedicated to providing members with an extraordinary experience that promotes fitness, community engagement, and comprehensive well-being. As a leader in the industry, Life Time operates numerous state-of-the-art fitness centers and clubs across the country, offering a diverse range of programs ranging from group fitness to aquatics, racquet sports, and more. The company's mission is rooted in fostering healthier lifestyles, helping members achieve their fitness goals, and creating an inclusive community environment where everyone feels welcomed and supported. Reflecting this commitment, Life Time invests heavily in its people and programs to ensure that every member interaction is meaningful and motivational. The organization prides itself on its culture of innovation, inclusion, and excellence, aiming to be the top destination for health and fitness enthusiasts seeking more than just a gym experience but a holistic approach to wellness.
The Events Coordinator role at Life Time is critical in supporting the Events and Corporate Communications team by providing tactical and logistical assistance, particularly for adult sports programming including Squash, Racquetball, Pickleball, and UHoops. This position is designed to boost member engagement and retention by ensuring a wide array of adult programming events run smoothly and successfully. The coordinator will work closely with various internal teams and external vendors, managing the coordination and execution of in-club events that align with Life Time's mission and vision. Key responsibilities include logistical planning, project management support, and communicating event promotions to both members and prospective members to drive participation.
Moreover, the Events Coordinator will play a significant role in capturing event outcomes through documentation and reporting on performance metrics to help improve future programming efforts. Exceptional communication skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with Microsoft Office software are essential for success in this role. The position demands a customer-focused mindset, with the ability to foster positive relationships, delivering outstanding member experiences that encourage loyalty and satisfaction. To qualify for this role, candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, with 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in coordinating events, preferably within corporate or retail settings. CPR and AED certification and the flexibility to travel when necessary are also required.
Preferred candidates will hold a bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field, along with a comprehensive knowledge of club activities and promotional strategies. Strong promotional skills and the ability to develop relationships with members are highly advantageous. Life Time is committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace, ensuring equal opportunity for all applicants. This employment opportunity offers the chance to be part of a vibrant and growing organization that values its employees and encourages career development within the health and wellness industry.
