The Events Chef role at Oak View Group is a part-time, hourly position paying between $27.00 and $30.00 per hour. This role plays a pivotal part in the hospitality operations of the company, specifically focusing on culinary programming for catered events held at OVG-managed venues. The Events Chef is responsible for leading the culinary execution from start to finish, ensuring that each event's food offerings reflect client preferences, accommodate dietary restrictions, and surpass quality expectations. This includes designing custom menus, overseeing food preparation and cooking, managing portion control, and supervising kitchen staff to maintain smooth service throughout events. Beyond culinary expertise, this position requires problem-solving abilities, heightened communication skills, and a polished professional demeanor to support the dynamic demands of live event settings.
Oak View Group provides invaluable support for professional development and offers benefits such as a 401(k) Savings Plan with matching contributions, even for part-time employees, demonstrating its investment in employee well-being and financial future.
