The Events Assistant will be responsible for managing emails and phone calls courteously and efficiently, supporting managers in various organizational tasks such as greeting clients, checking event spaces, creating group resumes, arranging VIP guest accommodations, and processing post-event paperwork meticulously. This includes the preparation of Personnel Authorizations, Check Requests, rebate memos, and other key documents ensuring seamless payroll and reporting processes. Job Requirements

  • ability to handle administrative tasks efficiently
  • excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • proficiency with computer applications including Microsoft Office

Job Duties

  • handle calls and e-mail correspondence in a courteous, efficient and clear manner
  • assist managers with various tasks including greeting clients, checking space, requesting history, creating group resumes, VIP guests arrangements, servicing affiliates, initiating programs, menus and BEOs from client specification sheets
  • process all post group paperwork, PER’s, rebate and commission memos
  • responsible for scheduling business travel for designated team including filling out Personnel Authorizations, Check Requests, or other hotel documents needed to ensure accurate payroll checks and reports
  • expedite delivery of messages to appropriate managers
