Job Requirements
- bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, project management or related field
- experience in event planning, marketing, social media management, or volunteer coordination
- strong social media skills including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok
- experience creating photo and video content for digital platforms
- working knowledge of basic event sound systems and microphones
- excellent organizational and communication skills
- ability to manage multiple projects and events simultaneously
- comfort and enthusiasm for working in a public-facing, customer service-oriented role
- comfortable working evenings and weekends during events

Job Duties
- plan, coordinate, and execute a calendar of weekly, monthly, and seasonal events at Midtown Global Market
- develop events designed to increase foot traffic and vendor sales
- coordinate with performers, community partners, vendors, and cultural organizations
- manage event logistics including scheduling, setup, vendor participation, and on-site coordination
- manage event production needs including setup and operation of sound systems for performances, announcements, and programming
- support large signature events such as festivals, celebrations, and special community programming
- recruit, train, and manage a volunteer event team to support event operations
