The role of the Events & PR Specialist at Allied is a critical position that supports the end-to-end strategic lifecycle of the company’s extensive corporate events portfolio. This specialist is responsible for managing venue sourcing, contract negotiations, multi-channel communications, and the on-site execution of various events, including a complex national tradeshow circuit. Acting as a vital liaison between senior executives, business units, and global vendors, the Events & PR Specialist ensures brand alignment and operational excellence throughout every event process. The position involves managing participation at key national conferences such as AFSA, ACU, and CUES by overseeing exhibition management, logistics, and ancillary events. Additionally, the specialist assists in proprietary event planning by coordinating RFP processes, negotiating venue contracts, and collaborating on agenda frameworks and team-building activities. This role requires detailed budget management responsibilities, including tracking expenses, processing vendor payments, and reporting financial outcomes to ensure adherence to financial targets.
Moreover, the Events & PR Specialist plays a strategic role in industry engagement by serving as a brand ambassador at national conferences and networking events. The specialist cultivates relationships with industry partners, attends conference sessions to stay updated on trends and regulatory changes, and manages on-site logistics to ensure a seamless brand experience. Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3-4 years of relevant work experience

Job Qualifications

- 3-4 years of work-related experience

Job Duties
- Manage the presence and participation at national industry conferences including exhibition management, logistics and fulfillment, and auxiliary events
- Assist in the end-to-end sourcing, planning, and execution for proprietary events including sourcing venues, strategic planning, communication, and execution
- Serve as a financial steward of the annual event budget portfolio including financial tracking, accounts payable, and reporting
- Support on-site brand presence at industry networking events including active representation, network development, session attendance, and logistical oversight
- Coordinate multi-channel communications and collaborate with marketing and field communications teams to design event content and materials
- Oversee on-site event logistics including F&B, decor, AV requirements, and room set-ups
- Manage production of signage, prizes, and promotional giveaways
