The Event & Promotions Supervisor role at Thunderbird Entertainment Inc. is a dynamic and influential position responsible for leading the planning, execution, and management of all property-wide events and promotional activities. This full-time position requires a hands-on leader who can navigate the fast-paced environment of an entertainment venue, ensuring that every event, from VIP parties to large-scale holiday celebrations, aligns with the casino's brand identity and business goals. The supervisor will work closely with multiple departments including marketing, finance, security, and VIP services to develop engaging promotions that enhance guest interaction, support revenue growth, and maintain compliance with tribal gaming regulations. The role demands excellent organizational skills, strategic planning, and the ability to manage budgets while coordinating logistics for seamless event execution.

As the primary leader for casino promotions, the Event & Promotions Supervisor will create detailed event schedules, negotiate with vendors and entertainment acts, and oversee on-site event setup and breakdown. This role also involves analyzing event performance through ROI and guest feedback to continuously improve future initiatives. The supervisor must be adept at maintaining communication across departments to align goals and deliver memorable guest experiences. Additionally, this position requires flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays to meet operational needs. Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
prior experience in event planning or promotions
ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
strong decision-making skills
ability to lift up to specified weight with or without accommodations
ability to walk, sit, stand, bend, scoop, kneel, and move intermittently throughout the day
adherence to ethical standards and casino policies
capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Job Duties

maintain proper compliance at all times while adhering to department policies and procedures, training, and guidelines
plan, lead, and execute all casino events including VIP parties, entertainment nights, anniversary celebrations, holiday events, and large-scale promotions
develop detailed event schedules, timelines, and production plans
manage all logistical elements
oversee event setup and breakdown ensuring brand standards and guest experience expectations are met
work directly with vendors, entertainment acts, decor providers, and internal teams to deliver seamless event execution
develop engaging promotions that drive guest traffic, increase play, and support casino revenue goals
work with the director of marketing to concept and execute monthly, quarterly, and annual promotional calendars
coordinate with players club, IT, finance, and security to ensure all promotions are compliant with tribal gaming regulations
help prepare and submit internal controls and promotional documentation to regulatory agencies as required
oversee the functionality of events relative to guest experience
collaborate with marketing, VIP services, food and beverage, operations, and facilities for successful cross-departmental execution
provide clear communication to all departments involved in upcoming events and promotions
ensure all events and promotions reflect Thunderbird Casino's brand identity and guest experience standards
monitor guest engagement and feedback to improve future promotions and event quality
create reports for events and promotions based on ROI and guest feedback
assist with capturing event content for social media, website features, and digital marketing campaigns
manage event and promotions budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effective execution
provide post-event and post-promotion reports including attendance, engagement metrics, financial summaries, and recommendations
maintain accurate documentation for compliance and audit purposes
perform other duties as assigned or requested by management
