The Event and Promotions Associate role at Hard Rock Biloxi is an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about event logistics, guest interaction, and team leadership. This position plays a critical role in organizing and managing the execution of various events and promotions, including gift pickups and slot and blackjack tournaments. The associate is responsible for handling setup and breakdown, ensuring that each event runs smoothly and meets the high standards expected at Hard Rock. Beyond logistical tasks, the role also focuses on enhancing the ambiance through decorations such as balloon columns and centerpieces, creating a welcoming and festive environment for guests. Training, scheduling, and coaching event and promotion team members are key leadership functions of this job, requiring strong organizational and interpersonal skills. Occasionally, the role involves cash handling responsibilities, demanding adherence to strict property policies and procedures. The associate also serves as a frontline ambassador by assisting patrons courteously and providing superior guest services. Educating customers about upcoming promotions and maintaining in-depth knowledge of property features, including memorabilia, further enriches the guest experience. Job Duties

  • Handles the logistics for events and promotions, gifts pickups and Slot and Blackjack tournaments set-up and breakdown
  • Assists with all décor such as balloon columns and centerpieces
  • Trains, schedules and coaches event and promotion associates
  • Occasional cash handling following property cash handling policies and procedures
  • Assists patrons in requests for assistance, services, and information in a courteous, respectful manner
  • Provides superior guest service to all guests
  • Educates customers on upcoming promotions and events
  • Maintains knowledge of property information, including memorabilia
  • Upholds the mission statement and represents Hard Rock Biloxi positively with guests, co-workers, managers, and vendors
