Job Description

The Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA) is a prominent Christian organization with a rich legacy of over 70 years dedicated to proclaiming the Gospel through various ministries. Headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina, BGEA extends its influence globally through its headquarters, the Billy Graham Library, the Billy Graham Training Center at the Cove in Asheville, Blue Ridge Broadcasting also in Asheville, and various international field offices. This broad-reaching organization unites a team of devoted Christians committed to sharing the message of Jesus Christ to people around the world by every effective means available. The mission of BGEA is deeply rooted in Christian faith, emphasizing a consistent witness for Jesus Christ, underpinning the work with prayer, scriptural devotion, and adherence to its Statement of Faith and core beliefs. The organization also highlights the importance of ministry employment aligning with its religious mission and values, ensuring every employee represents Jesus Christ in their personal and professional lives.

The role of Events and Project Coordinator at BGEA's Billy Graham Rapid Response Team (BG-RRT) and the National Law Enforcement Ministry (NLEM) is both dynamic and impactful. This position serves as a vital liaison between the internal communications department and these ministries, orchestrating communication projects and event coordination. Responsible for managing print and digital projects, website content, and data management, the coordinator ensures the seamless execution of BG-RRT and NLEM communication initiatives. The role demands coordination of a wide range of deliverables including print materials, digital media for events like Sharing Hope in Crisis seminars and Military Chaplain Retreats, as well as overseeing audio and video ministry services. The coordinator also collaborates closely with internal teams on email marketing campaigns, social media updates, and database management to support these ministries' outreach and operational needs. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality and timeliness. Additionally, the nature of this position involves travel to conferences and ministry events, reflecting the proactive and hands-on approach BGEA employs in its outreach efforts. This full-time role offers a supportive Christian work environment where employees are not only part of a dedicated team but also live out their faith daily while serving the global mission of the BGEA.
