Each community member, whether resident or staff, contributes to an environment filled with kindness, high-quality service, and grace. Life Enriching Communities prioritizes enriching the lives of seniors and their families, making a meaningful difference in their day-to-day experiences within a supportive and respectful environment.

Located at Wesley Glen in Columbus, Ohio, the organization operates within state-of-the-art facilities designed to provide comfort and safety to all residents. Focused on offering excellent patient care ratios, Life Enriching Communities ensures that every staff member has the capacity to engage meaningfully with residents, enhancing the quality and impact of services provided. The organization's commitment to a supportive team culture and professional development opportunities reinforces its mission to maintain an exceptional team, recognizing that high-quality care comes from a team that is valued and well-equipped.

The Events & Programs Coordinator role is a full-time position based at Wesley Glen, located at 5155 N. High Street, Columbus, Ohio. This role operates on a Monday to Friday schedule from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., offering a structured workweek conducive to work-life balance. The coordinator is responsible for enhancing the lives of Memory Support residents by organizing recreational and therapeutic activities tailored to their needs and interests. This involves developing and managing meaningful events and programs not only for residents but also their family members, thereby fostering community connection and engagement.

In addition to hands-on event coordination, the role requires overseeing the program development efforts of departmental staff, creating a collaborative and creative team environment. The coordinator plans and leads community-wide events, ensuring that all activities meet quality and effectiveness standards. Coordination with other departments is necessary to facilitate smooth operations and optimize resident experience.

The daily responsibilities include maintaining detailed calendars of events and managing departmental schedules to ensure orderly progress of programs. The role also entails maintaining accurate records of participation and documenting progress notes for each activity, supporting ongoing assessment and improvement of programs. Moreover, the coordinator ensures that all environments remain clean, comfortable, and safe, which is vital for enhancing the overall well-being of residents.

Working at Life Enriching Communities means access to a robust benefits package, including health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, generous paid time off, a retirement fund with company match, and on-site gym facilities. This comprehensive package supports both physical and financial well-being, while advancement opportunities and a positive, mission-driven work culture add to employee satisfaction. This role offers more than just a job; it provides an opportunity to contribute purposefully to the lives of seniors in a supportive, engaging setting.
