Job Description
We are a National Destination Management company renowned for our extensive reach and robust presence in the events and hospitality industry, boasting over 13 offices nationwide and a dedicated team of more than 250 professionals. Our company thrives on collaboration and innovation, blending the expertise of event planners, logistics coordinators, and creative visionaries to craft exceptional destination experiences. Recognized with over 57 industry awards, we pride ourselves on our unwavering commitment to excellence and client satisfaction. Our culture encourages passion and creativity, making us a dynamic and supportive environment for growth and professional development.
We are currently seeking an Account Manager to join our award-winning team. This role is pivotal in delivering flawless execution of destination programs that have been carefully tailored and sold by our Account Executives. The Account Manager will serve as the primary coordinator, maintaining close communication and partnership with clients, hotel contacts, vendors, and on-site teams to ensure every detail aligns with the client’s expectations. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and detail-oriented, thriving in a fast-paced and frequently changing environment where adaptability, responsiveness, and excellent interpersonal skills are critical. Travel opportunities may be required depending on the client’s needs and the scale of events.
This full-time position involves a wide array of responsibilities starting even before a program sale is finalized, including assisting Account Executives and Program Design Associates through site visits, client meetings, and pre-booking logistics such as transportation and field staff. Post-sales, the Account Manager takes ownership of the program's operational components, such as confirming client needs, coordinating vendor contracts, conducting site visits, managing manifests, and ordering supplies and merchandise. On-site operations form a significant portion of the role, encompassing the management of themed events, transportation logistics, team-building activities, off-property events, and more.
Beyond event execution, the Account Manager also plays a key role in administrative duties, managing invoicing, vendor reconciliation, billing organization, and review of final reports to ensure accuracy and client satisfaction. Leadership and supervisory responsibilities are embedded in the position, including the potential hiring and termination of team members and performing duties with discretion and independent judgment. This role calls for an energetic professional with strong communication skills, proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word, and an outgoing positive attitude. A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required to meet travel and site visit responsibilities effectively. Join us to be a critical part of our dynamic team and help us continue delivering outstanding destination experiences.
