Job Description
Apartment Life is a dynamic organization devoted to enhancing community living through meaningful engagement and hospitality in apartment complexes. Their mission centers on creating welcoming environments where residents feel valued, connected, and supported not just as tenants but as neighbors and integral parts of a vibrant community. The company operates with a unique blend of business excellence and genuine care, striving to weave together strong social connections with purposeful ministry. Apartment Life seeks to foster dynamics that promote not only social interaction but also spiritual growth within residential settings, making apartment living a rich and fulfilling experience.
This particular role is an offsite Events and Ministry Coordinator position at an Apartment Life community. It is a paid role designed for individuals who are enthusiastic about community engagement, ministry, and event planning. As an Events and Ministry Coordinator, you will be instrumental in crafting exceptional Apartment Life experiences by planning and hosting inviting monthly events. These events aim to nurture connections among residents, link them to community resources and local businesses, and create a supportive and welcoming atmosphere enriched by acts of radical hospitality. Beyond event planning, the role emphasizes the development of meaningful relationships within the apartment community by offering personal communication and genuine care.
This position offers a flexible work arrangement, requiring a commitment of approximately 8 hours per month, primarily involving evening and weekend availability when residents are most likely home. Coordinators are also encouraged to use their creativity and passion to develop marketing materials including monthly calendars, event flyers, and engaging social media posts that boost the community's presence and online reputation. With a supportive network of volunteers, vendors, and community partners, you will coordinate to maximize the impact of each event while managing budgets and preparing insightful monthly reports.
Ideal candidates will embody the vision and mission of Apartment Life, combining skills in event planning and communication with a heart for ministry and neighborly love. This role represents a unique opportunity to integrate business activities with impactful ministry, helping residents experience unconditional love and creating an inviting space where community thrives. Whether you're seasoned in event coordination or eager to grow within an uplifting ministry-focused environment, this role offers the chance to make a tangible difference in apartment communities.
