Job Description
Apartment Life is a dynamic organization committed to enriching the experience of residents in apartment communities by fostering connection, care, and community engagement. Focused on creating vibrant living environments, Apartment Life's mission blends business excellence with a heart for ministry, ensuring residents feel valued and cared for in their everyday lives. Recognized for combining hospitality with purposeful programming, Apartment Life seeks to transform apartment living into much more than just a place to stay — it's about building genuine relationships and nurturing a supportive community culture.
The Event and Ministry Coordinator role at Apartment Life is a paid position that plays a critical part in bringing the company’s mission to life. This role is designed for individuals who are passionate about community building and enjoy organizing social events that encourage connection and foster a sense of belonging among apartment residents. As a Coordinator, you will plan and host monthly events aimed at strengthening the bonds within the community while connecting residents to each other, local businesses, and supportive services. These events are opportunities for residents and staff alike to experience exceptional hospitality, personalized communication, and sincere care.
In this role, you will also be responsible for enhancing the community’s online presence, creating marketing materials such as flyers and social media posts, and managing event budgets collaboratively. Working closely with property staff and program directors, you will help plan and implement strategies that uplift resident experiences. Engaging volunteers, vendors, and local partners is another key aspect of the position, helping extend the impact and reach of your efforts. This role requires the ability to balance operational duties with a mission-driven mindset, all while maintaining a high level of professionalism and warmth.
Successful candidates will be mission-minded, highly relational, and responsible, equipped to meaningfully engage residents and lead community-focused programs. This position demands flexibility, with availability needed mostly during evenings and weekends when residents are typically home. The Apartment Life Event and Ministry Coordinator is more than just an event planner — you are a vital bridge connecting people to one another and to the larger community, making a tangible difference in the lives of apartment residents through faith-inspired ministry and outstanding service.
