Job Description
Apartment Life is a dynamic organization dedicated to enhancing the living experience within apartment communities through purposeful and meaningful engagement. With a focus on fostering vibrant and connected neighborhoods, Apartment Life blends community building with hospitality to create an environment where residents feel valued, connected, and at home. As a mission-driven company, Apartment Life operates in various communities, including a notable location in Northeast Raleigh, where an exciting opportunity arises for engaging and compassionate individuals to serve as Events & Ministry Coordinators. This position is designed to support the vision and mission of Apartment Life by developing programs that not only entertain but also foster a deep sense of belonging and connection among residents and staff alike.
The role of an Events & Ministry Coordinator is pivotal in shaping the Apartment Life experience. Coordinators are entrusted with the responsibility of designing and executing two high-quality monthly events catered to resident engagement and community building. This includes planning activities that connect residents with each other, onsite staff, and local services or businesses, thereby enhancing the social fabric of the apartment community. These coordinators exude passion for the mission of Apartment Life and demonstrate this by consistently delivering engaging events paired with clear and compassionate communication. They act as a reliable presence within the community, offering hospitality, support, and care that enrich residents’ lives and foster meaningful relationships.
This paid position offers compensation at $20 per hour, with an expectation to dedicate up to 16 hours each month, primarily during evenings and weekends to maximize resident participation. The role commences in June at the Northeast Raleigh community, promising a flexible and rewarding opportunity for individuals who are mission-minded, highly relational, and enjoy helping others experience unconditional love and community spirit. Beyond event planning, the coordinator will manage budgets, create marketing materials such as flyers and social media posts, maintain the community’s online reputation, and collaborate regularly with onsite staff and a Program Director to ensure continuous improvement and impact.
Candidates with a flair for social media, budget management, and volunteer coordination will find this role particularly fulfilling. The opportunity to integrate professional event planning with ministry and neighborly love makes this position uniquely fulfilling. Apartment Life encourages applicants to bring their authentic selves to the application process, emphasizing genuine personal experiences over AI-generated responses. This role not only provides a meaningful avenue for professional development but also a profound way to influence lives positively by weaving business practices with heartfelt ministry and outreach.
