The Events & Field Marketing Specialist plays a critical role within the marketing team by coordinating various customer-focused events that include grand openings, trade shows, training sessions, and appreciation events. This position requires managing all aspects of event logistics, including arranging rentals, catering, décor, signage, promotional materials, and swag while ensuring smooth onsite setup and vendor coordination. The specialist will provide onsite support during multiple events monthly, handling check-ins and breakdown processes. Collaborating closely with sales teams, this role ensures that events align with local market demands and successfully engage the customer base.
In addition to logistics, the specialist is responsible for securing sponsorships, giveaways, and promotional support from manufacturing partners. They lead internal planning meetings, maintaining communication, agendas, and action item follow-ups to guarantee seamless event execution. Managing timelines, budgets, and documentation is essential to keep all events and field initiatives on track. They also negotiate with service providers, handle invoicing, and keep precise records of event details and marketing assets.
Utilizing the company’s technology stack, the specialist manages RSVPs and registrations while promoting events to maximize attendance. Collecting feedback and tracking event performance allows for ongoing improvement and strategic planning for future events. This role is ideal for candidates with strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously. Experience in electrical distribution or B2B marketing adds an advantage but is not mandatory.

Job Requirements

- 2-4 years of experience in event coordination field marketing or related roles
- Strong organizational skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

- Familiarity with design tools such as Canva or Adobe is preferred
