The Events & Experience Assistant will play a pivotal role in supporting the Experience Producer with the planning, coordination, and execution of special events and services at Victory Church. This position is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to develop their skills in event planning and project management within a creative and fast-paced environment. The role involves comprehensive involvement in all stages of event creation, beginning with brainstorming ideas, coordinating details, managing vendor relationships, to final execution on the day of the event. Administrative responsibilities also form a key part of this role, including tracking expenses, inventory management, and communication support.

The Events & Experience Assistant will work closely with the Experience Producer and collaborate across various teams including Media for branding and marketing, Pastors and Leadership for service coordination, and various ministry teams for event participation. This role not only requires excellent organizational skills but also a creative mindset to contribute to the design and delivery of impactful event experiences. Physical activity including lifting event equipment up to 50 pounds and being on your feet during event set-up is essential. This position fosters growth opportunities for aspiring creative professionals aiming to build a career in event planning or project management within a ministry context. Job Requirements

  • Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time to design content and at a computer to design
  • Physical exertion such as standing bending stooping crouching lifting and reaching
  • Walk a short to long distances to manage equipment and events
  • Lift and carry up to 50 pounds or what is necessary to lift and move event equipment
  • Maintains Victory protocol policies and procedures
  • Demonstrates integrity
  • Performs and maintains tasks with an appropriate level of confidentiality
  • Models the biblical standard of personal conduct and lifestyle that is expected of all Victory Team staff members as outlined in the Honor Code and Employee Handbook
  • Fully participates in the life of the church as an active member in good standing with the Victory
  • Supports and adheres to the mission vision values and philosophy of Victory
  • Submits to and supports the leadership of Victory
  • Works well as a team player with leaders staff and volunteers

Job Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of event planning and/or project management
  • Advanced knowledge in administrative skills
  • Relevant knowledge for current trends and event design
  • Exceptional creative thinking skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks
  • Time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work with excellence in a fast paced creative environment

Job Duties

  • Coordinate event details under the supervision of the Experience Producer
  • Establish and maintain relationships with vendors
  • Assist in tracking event related expenses
  • Take an inventory then create a system for check in/out of church décor supply closet
  • Use problem solving skills to overcome challenges while maintaining the integrity of the experience
  • Run errands and help with set up to ensure a successful event
  • Collaborate with Media Team for branding marketing and content creation
