The Events and Communications Manager plays a vital role at Boonsboro Country Club by ensuring effective and engaging communication across multiple platforms and orchestrating a diverse range of events that bring the community together. This full-time, salaried position requires a creative and detail-oriented professional who can manage club communications including social media, newsletters, and marketing production, while also collaborating closely with the Food and Beverage staff, culinary team, and house committee to develop memorable activities and events throughout the year. The manager will lead programming for children, organizing camps and themed events tailored to different age groups to enhance the club’s family-friendly atmosphere.

Job Requirements
- Associate's degree minimum requirement
- Preferably degree in Hospitality, Communications, or Business
- Experience in hospitality and event planning
- Familiarity with private club environment preferred
- Proficiency with technology and software including MS Publisher, Adobe, Canva, JotForm, Flipsnack, Jonas, and Paycom
- Excellent organizational and marketing skills
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed
Job Qualifications
- Experience in hospitality with an emphasis on event planning
- Understanding of food and beverage operations
- Experience in private clubs, resorts, or event planning
- Experience working with children such as camps or recreation programs
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and work independently
- Stability in work history with demonstrated progressive responsibilities
Job Duties
- Manage club communications including social media, newsletters, and marketing production and execution
- Collaborate with Food and Beverage staff, culinary team, and house committee to develop member activities and events
- Plan, organize, and lead age-appropriate programming for members' children including camps and themed events
- Produce promotional materials and update web pages
- Prepare Banquet Event Orders and email notices
- Oversee the execution of small and large events including staffing and cost management
- Monitor social media management and graphic design to enhance club’s outreach
