The Events & Catering Manager role at The Marshes of Skidaway Island is an exciting opportunity for a hospitality professional passionate about creating unforgettable dining and event experiences for senior residents. Reporting to dining leadership, the Events & Catering Manager will collaborate closely with residents, kitchen staff, and the dining room team to tailor events that match the preferences and needs of the community. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- ServSafe certification preferred
- Minimum of five years supervisory experience in a restaurant, club, hotel, or similar hospitality setting preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work some nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Valid driver’s license required

Job Duties
- Plan, organize, direct, and coordinate all catering and event activities involving food and beverage
- Consult with residents and staff to determine event needs and preferences
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to develop menus and ensure all event requirements are met
- Collaborate with the Dining Room Manager to ensure proper staffing for all events
- Oversee event setup, service, and breakdown to ensure a high-quality experience
- Maintain high standards of customer service and hospitality at all times
