The role available at Six Flags New England is an exciting and dynamic position centered on supporting the theatrical entertainment operations within the park. This position plays a critical role in ensuring that guests experience seamless and immersive entertainment through the effective operation of theater venues and character appearances. The person in this role will be the vital link between performers and guests, maintaining the integrity and magic of character interactions by acting as a verbal liaison and accompanying performers. A key responsibility includes assisting performers with costume handling to ensure that the show illusion is preserved and guests’ belief in the characters remains intact throughout their visit. Maintaining costumes, props, and accessories in top condition is also a priority, highlighting an attention to detail and respect for the theatrical elements that contribute to the overall guest experience. The position demands a commitment to cleanliness and safety within the work environment, aligning with the company’s overarching values.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong work ethic
  • Ability to stand for long periods and walk long distances
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Good communication skills in English
  • Physical ability to assist with costume management
  • Must be at least 16 years old

Job Duties

  • Supporting the Six Flags Mantra - Friendly, Clean, Fast, and Safe service
  • Meeting and greeting guests with enthusiasm
  • Ensuring smooth operation of theater venue and character appearances
  • Acting as verbal liaison between characters and others
  • Accompanying characters and other performers
  • Maintaining "show illusion" and belief of character at all times for our guests
  • Assisting performers in and out of costumes, ensuring that all pieces are neat and secure
  • Caring for and maintaining the upkeep of costumes, props, and accessories
  • Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
