The role requires close collaboration with various departments including culinary, operations, service leadership, and external vendors to ensure the flawless execution of each event.
The Event Manager will act as the primary client contact on event days, leading a team of trained staff to deliver outstanding service while maintaining the venue’s standards of cleanliness and organization. This position emphasizes strong leadership, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure. Job Requirements
- Four-year degree or equivalent experience
- RAMP certification within 90 days of hire
- At least two years of related experience and/or training
- Availability to work on weekends
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to handle stressful situations effectively
- Freedom from illegal use of drugs and effects of drugs and alcohol in the workplace
Job Qualifications
- Four-year degree or equivalent experience
- RAMP certification within 90 days of hire
- At least two years of related experience and/or training
- Freedom from illegal drug use and workplace drug and alcohol effects
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Experience in event management or hospitality industry
- Proven leadership and team management abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Job Duties
- Develop, oversee, and coordinate exceptional events
- On event days, serve as the client’s primary point of contact and lead a team of skilled, trained staff
- Ensure excellent execution of each event
- Work with the Service Leader who manages front-of-house employee operations
- Guide the culinary team to deliver outstanding cuisine for guests
- Supervise the venue’s cleanliness and organization to ensure it shines
- Collaborate with culinary and operations teams and outside vendors to ensure successful event execution
- Handle paperwork and maintain effective communication
- Be flexible to perform additional duties to meet business needs
