Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years experience in meeting/event planning including incentives, association, corporation, hotel catering, or convention sales
  • proven communication skills with executive-level stakeholders
  • knowledge of program/event management and budget maintenance
  • experience with project planning
  • ability to work independently and proactively
  • experience handling multiple projects and client escalations
  • experience in client relationship development and maintenance
  • excellent communication skills
  • proficiency in G-suite tools

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years in meeting/event planning including incentives, association, corporation, hotel catering, or convention sales
  • proven success in communicating and interacting effectively with executive-level stakeholders demonstrating professionalism, discretion, and confidence in high-visibility environments
  • strong knowledge of program/event management and budget maintenance
  • experience project planning
  • proven ability to work independently and proactively
  • prior experience in effectively handling multiple projects/demands and client escalations
  • prior successful experience in developing and maintaining key client relationships
  • excellent oral and written communication skills across all organizational levels including individual contributors, suppliers, and executive clients
  • proficiency in G-suite tools and ability to quickly learn new technology

Job Duties

  • Serve as the primary point-of-contact for event hosts and internal service teams
  • plan and design events in assigned venue space including timelines, deliverables, and communication plans
  • lead pre-con meetings and site inspections to ensure supplier service delivery
  • oversee onsite event execution acting as team lead and ensuring quality assurance across all service areas
  • manage VIP logistics and special projects ensuring privacy and security protocols are followed
  • conduct venue audits and submit maintenance requests to ensure cleanliness and functionality
  • maintain venue SOPs, manage venue calendar, and accurately track event data
