Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion or commitment to complete required training and certifications
- At least one year of customer service or hospitality experience preferred
- At least one year of audiovisual experience or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license if operating company vehicles
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Availability to work varied hours including evenings, weekends, holidays, and on-call
- Strong technical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to maintain positive client interactions
- Physical ability to perform job functions including lifting, standing, and climbing
- Adherence to company appearance guidelines
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma required
- Associate's degree preferred
- Completion of Encore’s Global Learning Training Program certifications
- Minimum one year of customer service or hospitality experience preferred
- Minimum one year of audiovisual experience or equivalent in an educational environment preferred
- Valid driver’s license required for vehicle operation
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot technical equipment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work irregular hours and in various hotel locations
Job Duties
- Ensure flawless event execution through timely and accurate setup, operation, and breakdown of audiovisual equipment
- Exceed customer expectations by providing excellent internal and external customer service
- Maintain positive client relationships through effective communication
- Meet with guests onsite to verify equipment setup and operational needs
- Monitor ongoing events and check in with customers regularly
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment and software issues promptly
- Complete systems entry, order entries, and assist with invoicing using company processes and software
- Implement up-selling techniques to increase revenue during event setups
- Collaborate with other staff and vendors for equipment coordination
