This company is renowned for its commitment to quality, inclusivity, and employee development, offering diverse career paths in the event technology industry.

The Technician role at Encore is a vital position responsible for the setup, operation, and breakdown of basic to small-scale audiovisual systems within a hospitality setting. The hourly pay for this position ranges between $14.22 to $18.49, adjusted based on relevant experience, location, and skills. Technicians may also qualify for additional compensation such as overtime and bonuses.

In this role, the Technician is tasked with setting up audiovisual equipment accurately and timely, troubleshooting technical issues, and maintaining seamless communication with guests during events. The position requires knowledge of various equipment and software, attention to detail for order entries, and collaborating with vendors for equipment needs. Beyond technical proficiency, the role emphasizes customer interactions, requiring the Technician to meet onsite with clients, monitor event progress, and respond promptly to any issues that arise.

The Technician position at Encore embodies a combination of technical skills, customer service acumen, and a deep understanding of hospitality standards. The job environment spans hotel and convention center venues, often involving moderate exposure to different temperatures, noise levels, and occasional outdoor elements. Technicians must be physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and performing activities such as standing, walking, stooping, and climbing as required by event setups.

Encore offers a supportive work culture focused on inclusivity and valuing individual uniqueness. This is reflected in their comprehensive training and certification programs, including a Global Learning Training Program designed to support both internal and external candidates. Team members benefit from continuous growth opportunities and are encouraged to align with Encore’s competency values such as delivering world-class service, safety consciousness, technical savvy, effective communication, and ownership.
