With a commitment to delivering world-class customer experiences, Encore supports its clients by seamlessly integrating technology solutions that enhance the effectiveness and impact of meetings, conferences, and special events. Known for their innovation and customer-centric approach, Encore fosters a work culture that values technical expertise, creativity, and superior service quality. The company operates across multiple locations and offers career growth opportunities through structured training and certification programs.
The Technician role at Encore is fundamental to the delivery of flawless audiovisual setups and operations in hospitality settings. This position focuses on the setup, operation, and breakdown of small-scale audiovisual systems to ensure that every event is executed to the highest standards. The Technician works closely with clients and internal teams to provide responsive technical support and customer service throughout the event lifecycle. Reporting to Operations leadership, including an Operations Manager or Director of Event Technology, this role demands a blend of technical proficiency, interpersonal skills, and a commitment to exceeding client expectations.
As a Technician, you will be responsible for managing equipment used in events, ensuring that it is ready and functioning properly upon setup, and troubleshooting any issues that arise during operations. You will also be proactive in customer engagement, maintaining positive communication channels with clients to guarantee satisfaction and help foster repeat business. Technicians at Encore are expected to adhere to company procedures, properly document event details, and utilize internal software tools to track equipment orders and invoices. Physically, the role requires the ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds, navigate various work environments that include heights and varying noise levels, and work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
This position is perfect for individuals with a background in audiovisual technology, customer service experience in hospitality, and a passion for technical problem-solving in dynamic event settings. Encore provides a supportive environment to develop your skills through mandatory training and certifications, which are essential to advancement within the company. Technicians also receive continuous support from a collaborative team, enabling them to thrive in a fast-paced, detail-oriented industry. This full-time position offers the opportunity to build a rewarding career by delivering exceptional event technology services and helping clients create memorable experiences.
