Job Description
Hawaii State Federal Credit Union (HSFCU) is a reputable financial institution committed to serving the diverse needs of its members across the Hawaiian Islands. Established with a mission to provide exceptional financial products and services, HSFCU stands out as a community-focused credit union that prioritizes a people-first workplace culture and sustainable growth. With a long-standing recognition as one of Hawaii's Best Places to Work for over 14 years, HSFCU fosters an environment where employee development and wellness are paramount, making it an attractive employer in the region.
HSFCU operates as a full-service credit union offering comprehensive banking solutions, including savings and checking accounts, loans, credit cards, and investment services. The organization emphasizes a wellness-focused and community-minded culture, encouraging teamwork and collaboration as central pillars of its operations. This approach not only benefits its employees but also enhances member engagement and customer satisfaction, helping HSFCU maintain strong community ties and a loyal member base.
The Event Strategist Professional II role at HSFCU is a critical position focused on planning, executing, and evaluating external, member-facing events aimed at strengthening member engagement while delivering measurable business impact. This role manages the full event lifecycle starting from concept development through seamless event execution and insightful post-event evaluations. The Event Strategist aligns all events with the organization’s strategic goals, brand standards, and the unique needs of HSFCU’s members.
This position also plays a significant role in integrating event strategies with broader marketing campaigns, ensuring consistency in messaging and enhancing the effectiveness of cross-channel promotional efforts. Beyond member-facing events, the Event Strategist Professional II provides strategic support for select internal initiatives, making this role versatile and vital for both external outreach and internal program success.
A key focus of the role includes managing larger recurring events such as milestone anniversary celebrations, major community activations, and programs specific to Maui, showcasing the candidate’s ability to handle complex logistics and community relations. The Event Strategist is also responsible for overseeing the promotional item program, continually improving event analytics, and driving deeper integration with campaigns to maintain consistent, high-quality event experiences across the board.
Candidates will find this position rewarding as it offers the opportunity to work in a stable, employee-centric environment that values professional growth and development. HSFCU offers competitive compensation ranging from $57,576 to $92,122 annually, along with a robust benefits package that includes comprehensive health coverage, generous paid time off, retirement savings plans, and multiple wellness and financial benefits designed to support employees' overall lifestyle.
This role demands a strong set of organizational, communication, and project management skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple priorities independently while collaborating effectively with vendors and internal teams. By joining HSFCU as an Event Strategist Professional II, candidates will be part of a forward-thinking team that contributes to building lasting member relationships and enhancing the brand’s community presence through impactful event experiences.
