Job Description

Shoup Legal is a well-established and reputable estate planning law firm committed to assisting individuals and families in securing their futures through comprehensive estate planning and probate services. Located in the Temecula Valley, Shoup Legal prides itself on combining personalized client service with expert legal knowledge to ensure that every client feels heard, understood, and empowered during one of the most important planning processes of their lives. The firm is highly regarded for its passionate team of legal professionals who prioritize protecting their clients' legacies and providing peace of mind for today and tomorrow. With a commitment to community outreach and education, Shoup Legal frequently conducts in-person estate planning workshops designed to inform and engage the public on critical legal matters involving wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and probate proceedings.

In the role of Event Staff at Shoup Legal, you will become an indispensable part of this educational mission. This part-time position involves working closely with the workshop team to plan, coordinate, and execute estate planning workshops that help break down complex legal topics into understandable and actionable information for attendees. Your responsibilities will include managing event logistics from setting up and breaking down the workshop venue to preparing presentation equipment and materials. As a welcoming face for attendees, you will provide information about Shoup Legal’s services, answer questions, and facilitate smooth check-ins and post-event appointment scheduling.

The position requires an individual who is not only highly organized and detail-oriented but also possesses an energetic and outgoing personality to engage effectively with workshop participants. Experience in event management or customer service is preferred but not mandatory as training and foundational knowledge in estate planning and probate will be provided or can be self-developed. Reliability and professional appearance are essential given that you are representing Shoup Legal within the community. The role offers flexible scheduling options including day and evening shifts on weekdays and weekends, allowing you to work a minimum of two workshops per month with approximately three-hour shifts.

This opportunity is perfect for individuals who are enthusiastic about legal education, enjoy working in community-focused environments, and have strong communication and interpersonal skills. This role offers a meaningful way to contribute to people’s understanding of important legal tools to protect their families and assets. Join Shoup Legal’s team and play a key part in helping the Temecula Valley community plan for a secure future with confidence and clarity.
