Job Requirements
- 18 plus years of age
- Punctual, late arrivals will not be permitted to work
- Full uniform at the start of your shift, incomplete uniform equals no assignment
- Strong communication and customer-facing skills
- Comfortable standing and working outdoors for an extended shift
- Ability to follow supervisor instructions and work as part of a team
- No use of cell phones while on duty
- Must comply with tobacco-free campus policies
Job Qualifications
- Strong communication skills
- Customer-facing experience preferred
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Punctuality and reliability
- Basic knowledge of event operations or crowd management is a plus
- Ability to stand and work outdoors for extended periods
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Job Duties
- Welcome graduates and their families and inform them of complimentary parking and the university's clear bag policy
- Distribute clear bags to guests who need them to comply with venue requirements
- Keep traffic moving by directing guests to available parking lots and garages
- Assist with traffic and pedestrian flow between ceremonies inside garages, surface lots, and at other posts assigned by supervisors
- Work as part of a team and follow supervisor instructions
- Provide customer service with a positive, helpful attitude
- Stand and work outdoors for extended periods
