The role of Cleaner at ABM is integral to maintaining a safe, hygienic, and welcoming environment within large arena settings such as sports stadiums, convention centers, or entertainment venues. This position involves maintaining cleanliness and managing supplies in assigned areas which could range from restrooms and suites to concourses and other common spaces accessible to guests. This role demands flexibility, reliability, and a willingness to perform all assigned tasks diligently, including cleaning common areas, restrooms, private or VIP suites, emptying trash receptacles, handling spills or bodily fluids safely, and assisting guests with directions within the complex.
This hourly role pays $15.00 per hour, reflecting a fair wage adjusted based on experience, skills, geographic location, and alignment with market standards. Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- No experience required and on the job training provided
- No high school diploma, GED or college degree required
Job Qualifications
- Customer service experience preferred
- One year of similar work experience preferred
- Ability to establish and maintain effective communication with team members
- Ability to comply with safety, security, and quality standards
- Willingness to perform assigned duties with flexibility and reliability
Job Duties
- Notify manager concerning the need for minor or major repairs or additions to building operating systems
- Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with clients, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, managers
- Comply with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures established by the company, clients, and regulatory authorities
- Clean and dust furniture, fixtures, floors, ceilings, walls, machines, and equipment
- Move cabinets, boxes, furniture, crates and equipment to clean areas, either manually or by using hand trucks
- Clean interior partition glass, windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees
