The role of Cleaner at ABM entails maintaining the cleanliness, stock of supplies, and overall upkeep of assigned areas within venues such as arenas, sports stadiums, convention centers, or other entertainment complexes. Depending on the assignment, these areas could include restrooms, VIP or private suites, concourses, common areas accessible to guests, or other specified locations within the facility. This is a vital frontline position responsible for ensuring guests and visitors experience a clean and welcoming environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, flexibility, and a commitment to completing all assigned tasks to the highest standards. Key duties include cleaning furniture, fixtures, floors, ceilings, walls, machinery, and equipment using appropriate cleaning methods and supplies. Cleaners will also be responsible for moving furniture, cabinets, boxes, crates, and equipment either manually or using hand trucks to access all areas that require cleaning. Attention to detail is critical, including cleaning interior glass partitions, windows, mirrors, and responding promptly to clean bodily fluids or spills. In addition to cleaning responsibilities, the role may also involve assisting guests with directions and maintaining clear and effective communication with supervisors and team members. This position offers on-the-job training and is suitable for individuals entering or re-entering the workforce, with no prior experience or education requirements necessary.
