Established as an innovator in industrial automation and information technology, Rockwell Automation supports some of the most significant companies that impact everyday life. These clients include those feeding the world, delivering life-saving medicines on a global scale, and focusing on sustainable solutions such as clean water initiatives and green mobility. Employing over 28,000 professionals, Rockwell Automation takes pride in its diverse and talented workforce, which is energized by problem-solving and committed to making a positive global impact. The role available is centered on managing the planning and execution of multiple regional customer-facing trade shows and marketing events to increase company exposure, generate sales leads, and grow demand for products and services. Reporting to the Senior Event Manager, this position is based in Milwaukee, WI with a hybrid work schedule that combines in-office presence and remote work. The individual in this role will be responsible for end-to-end coordination of events, including trade shows, customer events, and other company-driven marketing initiatives. Key responsibilities include handling registration and attendee tracking, managing logistics, coordinating with internal teams and external vendors, and providing on-site support during events to ensure smooth execution.

This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate across diverse teams to achieve strategic event objectives. The planner will research and evaluate potential venues and locations to find the best options considering budget and logistics, manage vendor relationships including exhibit houses and audiovisual providers, and oversee setup and dismantling of event exhibits. In addition to managing the physical components of events, the role includes supporting pre-event preparation and post-event follow-up to analyze event success and areas for improvement.

Rockwell Automation offers a supportive work environment that encourages growth and flexibility, with benefits including health insurance, 401k, paid time off, and family leave options. The company values diversity and is committed to building an inclusive workplace where all employees can thrive. Candidates with a bachelor’s degree and a legal right to work in the U.S. are encouraged to apply, even if their experience does not perfectly match every qualification listed.
