The Regional Marketing Events Manager role at Rockwell Automation is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and organized professional to manage the planning and execution of multiple regional customer-facing trade shows and marketing events. Reporting to the Senior Event Manager, this position is based in Milwaukee, WI, and operates on a hybrid schedule, requiring in-office presence on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. The primary focus of this role is to maximize company exposure and grow demand for Rockwell Automation’s products and services through well-coordinated and impactful events.
As the Regional Marketing Events Manager, you will be responsible for end-to-end event management, from initial planning through post-event follow-up. You will work closely with both internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure seamless coordination of all logistics, including registration management, presentation support, attendee tracking, and event material preparation. Your expertise in vendor procurement, facilities coordination, and on-site event support will be critical to delivering successful events that align with the company’s goals and messaging.
This role requires a strategic and detail-oriented approach to managing marketing events, including trade shows and customer events that generate valuable sales leads and strengthen customer relationships. Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship
- 2+ years experience supporting or coordinating marketing events, trade shows, or customer-facing programs
- Experience working with vendors and coordinating event logistics
- Experience providing hands-on support during events including travel and on-site work
- Proficiency with standard business tools such as Microsoft Office and event registration or tracking systems

Job Duties
- Plan and execute marketing events including trade shows, customer events, and company-sponsored programs
- Coordinate event logistics including registration management, attendee tracking, presentation support, and event materials
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to agree on goals, timelines, roles, and deliverables ensuring seamless execution
- Support pre-event planning and post-event evaluations including follow-up communications and performance assessments
- Procure, manage, and coordinate vendor services such as exhibit houses, audiovisual partners, transportation, and other third-party suppliers
- Coordinate facilities, exhibit setup and dismantle, equipment needs, and catering requirements
- Provide on-site event support to ensure smooth execution and issue resolution
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure event objectives, messaging, and deliverables are aligned
- Research potential event locations and venues and assist in evaluating alternatives based on business needs, budget, and logistics
- Maintain accurate event documentation and ensure compliance with internal processes and guidelines
