Job Duties
- Meet group coordinator/host(ess) prior to functions and make introductions
- ensure all arrangements are agreeable
- read and analyze banquet event order to gather guest information
- determine proper set up, timeline, specific guest needs, buffets, action stations
- respond to and fulfill special banquet event arrangements
- follow up on special banquet event arrangements to ensure compliance
- follow all company safety and security policies and procedures
- report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions
- complete safety training and certifications
- maintain professional appearance and confidentiality
- welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards
- anticipate and address guest service needs
- thank guests with genuine appreciation
- communicate clearly and professionally
- answer telephones with appropriate etiquette
