This full-time, non-management Food and Beverage role is based in Atlanta, Georgia, at 265 Peachtree Center Ave NE. The primary function of this position revolves around banquet event coordination and support. As a key team member, you will liaise with group coordinators or hosts to review event details prior to reception, make introductions, and ensure all preparations are agreed upon and executed meticulously. Critical tasks include reading and analyzing banquet event orders to gather guest information, determining proper organization and timelines, and identifying special guest needs alongside buffet and food station arrangements. The role demands a thorough follow-up to guarantee that special banquet preparations meet established standards and expectations.

Safety and professionalism are core components of this position. You will be responsible for adhering to all company safety policies and procedures, promptly reporting maintenance issues, hazards, accidents, or injuries, and completing required safety training and certifications. A neat, professional appearance and uniform are mandatory. Confidentiality concerning company property and sensitive information must be maintained. Collaboration and mutual respect among colleagues are vital for achieving team goals and maintaining the high standards Marriott is known for. The job also requires the physical ability to handle objects up to 25 pounds, remain standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods, and navigate various challenging environments such as confined spaces, inclined surfaces, stairs, or ramps.
