Job Description

Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Riverside Perris is a premier hotel located in Perris, California, proudly part of the globally recognized Marriott International family. Known for its dedication to providing a simple yet satisfying hospitality experience, Fairfield embodies the Marriott family farm heritage, which inspires a calming, reliable experience characterized by warm hospitality and great value. With over 1,000 locations worldwide, Fairfield ensures guests receive an exceptional and memorable stay wherever they travel. The hotel seeks to maintain the highest standards of service, promising each guest the Fairfield Guarantee — a commitment that every guest leaves the hotel thoroughly satisfied.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team within the administrative category, located on-site at Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Riverside Perris. It is a full-time, non-management position with a competitive pay rate of $18.75 per hour. The position requires flexibility in scheduling to accommodate varying needs, fostering a work environment supportive of work-life balance. Being physically present at the property, the role is ideal for candidates looking for a customer-focused, hands-on job in hospitality with daily interaction with guests and sales teams.

The primary responsibility of this position is to oversee on-property event planning and execution, ensuring seamless coordination and delivery of meeting events. Acting as the main point of contact for guests organizing events, this role guarantees a smooth end-to-end experience that meets and exceeds guest expectations. It also supports property General Managers and the Group Sales Office by coordinating sales efforts and administrative tasks. This includes collecting, developing, and submitting content for property websites on Marriott.com, enhancing the hotel's online presence and marketing initiatives.

Key to this role is maintaining clear communication and outstanding customer service. The individual must greet guests warmly according to company standards, address their service needs proactively, and assist guests with disabilities to ensure inclusive hospitality. Professionalism in appearance and adherence to company policies is mandatory, reinforcing the hotel's brand reputation. The job also includes handling telephone communications with appropriate etiquette and preparing, reviewing documents with accuracy, and responding to guest concerns effectively.

Beyond guest interaction, this position involves collaboration and support within a team environment, helping to meet common goals. The role requires physical activity such as standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods and the ability to move or handle light objects weighing up to 10 pounds. Additional duties may be assigned by supervisors, offering flexibility and variety within the role.

Fairfield by Marriott embraces diversity and is committed to equal employment opportunities, fostering a work environment that values the unique backgrounds and experiences of all associates. The hotel actively promotes non-discrimination policies and provides inclusive career opportunities, including consideration of qualified applicants with criminal histories where applicable. By joining Fairfield by Marriott, candidates become part of an amazing global team where they can deliver their best work, find their purpose, belong, and grow into the best version of themselves.
