The position of Administrative Specialist at Residence Inn by Marriott Pleasant Hill Concord involves a critical role in event planning, sales support, and a wide range of administrative functions that uphold the seamless operation of the property. This full-time, non-management role is pivotal in ensuring all aspects of on-property events are verified and executed efficiently. The individual in this position acts as the primary liaison for guests organizing meeting events, ensuring an end-to-end smooth experience that aligns with company standards. They also serve as a key contact for the Group Sales Office and Area Sales teams, providing essential support to maximize property sales efforts. Responsibilities include collecting, developing, and submitting content to keep the property’s Marriott.com website current and informative, thereby enhancing the property's online presence and engagement with potential guests. Beyond event coordination and sales support, this role requires the completion of various administrative duties delegated by property General Managers, ensuring all company policies and procedures are adhered to strictly.

The Administrative Specialist upholds Marriott’s high standards of guest service by welcoming and acknowledging guests with genuine appreciation, anticipating and addressing their service needs, and assisting guests with disabilities. This role demands the ability to communicate clearly and professionally, maintain confidentiality, and protect company assets. Physical requirements include standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods and the ability to move objects weighing up to 10 pounds.
